Noom is a subscription-based app that helps people lose weight, exercise and improve their mental health. It has 45 million downloads and most users are women aged over 40.
The project: Create 12 educational lessons for Noom’s new Healthy Ageing and Metabolism app course. Content focused on menopause and symptoms, especially weight gain.
Scope: Draft the course outline and content, plus medical references. I worked with Noom’s team to meet the needs of their audience while promoting our product. Lessons included real women’s stories, mindfulness meditations and practical tips and techniques.
Outcome:
91% of course users expressed high satisfaction with the lesson content
59% said Noom’s partnership with Stella enhanced trust
Users enjoyed the diverse content, which went beyond purely scientific
The pilot enabled Noom to launch a new menopause medication service
